At Sheering School our Christian ethos lies at the heart of the school and the school lies at the heart of the community. In an exciting and stimulating learning environment we will acquire the values, knowledge and skills to enable us to achieve our full potential. At our school everyone is given every opportunity to be the best they can be because Everyone Matters
Our vision underpins everything that we do in Sheering School and we expect the whole school community to embrace this vision.
Sheering Church of England Primary School is a village school with a family feel where responsibility, reliability and courtesy are fostered in a context of academic success, a lively curriculum, visits and a range of clubs & activities.
Hidden behind our Victorian frontage is a vibrant and exciting learning community. With just over 100 pupils, Sheering School prides itself on its family feel and strong links with the local community. Our school logo ‘Everyone Matters’ recognises that every individual involved with the school is valued.
We aim to make our school a fun and exciting place to be with a lively curriculum, visits and a wide range of lunchtime and after-school activities and clubs. We foster the values of responsibility, respect, kindness, perseverance, empathy and independence. Everyone’s opinion is valued in our school. Together, we are building on the school’s successes and making changes along the way that will enhance what is already good in our school.
Children attend the school from Sheering Village, Lower Sheering, Sawbridgeworth, Harlow and Church Langley. Sheering School is a feeder school for The Leventhorpe School and Mark Hall Academy and some of our pupils also go on to attend other Bishop’s Stortford and Harlow schools.
